A new version of the sisterhood of traveling pants

I am sick and tired of trying to sell my clothes that are too big for me and I have given so many away to the Salvation Army and I noticed last time I took a bunch there, they were just leaving things outside in the snow and weather and I don't think that shows much appreciation. So, I have another idea. Why not try my blogging bandits for fun! I am a professional and so my clothes do not get much wear and tear. I have four pairs of size 18 pants to send traveling. Sag Harbor stretch corduroy in a warm brown color, Chaps dark brown heavier cotton, Gloria Vanderbilt jeans, and Vanessa black dress pant (not lined). I am 5'1" tall and these are the "right" length. Going to a new home. If you would like them, I will ship to you upon request. They are clean and ready to wear. For those of you who are losing, I wore these when I was in the 200 - 215 range.

What a great idea! I am needing to get rid of my "pile"... so I was going to email all of my friends locally and see who needed what, then was thinking about going that route! Wish I were even close to size 18... :-)

That is a great idea! I was thinking of doing that myself. I gave my last lot of "too big" good stuff to the Salvos....but I took them into the shop when they were open. However, I have a couple of very special pieces that cost a bomb for evening wear that I was thinking of photographing and putting on my blog for whoever wanted them.

This is a great idea. My next size will be an 18 but I am 5' 4" so I am not sure if the length will work for me. But I love the concept and might start doing that on my blog as well. As I now give them to a few friends here at work, but don't see them wearing the stuff too often... ;-0

DocSly... I don't need the traveling pants, but I think it's a great idea though...

Just wanted to tell you if you want to use the paddle store in a presentation, or any of my stuff you are welcome to them. Just click on the photo to make it big, then right click and go to the save as, name it what you want to and it will be saved on your computer, for educational purposes, of course...

Glad you enjoy them.
